Eric Schnetzer | @backalleynails
Eric Schnetzer is the owner and operator of Back Alley Nails. Though he spent his childhood in Minnesota, after living in Florida for over a decade he has embraced the Florida-Man lifestyle.
Prior to operating a salon, Eric worked as an independent artist and a part-time educator at Sunstate Academy. His passion for nail art, education, client relations, and his work history in management led him to opening Back Alley Nails in December of 2020.
Back Alley Nails is a space to connect with other people, and receive high quality services using top of the line products from all over the world. Every day, he’s grateful for the laughter and funny stories that constantly fill the salon.
In his free time, Eric enjoys free diving, running, drawing, spending time with his dog Susan, camping and playing video games.
Eric brings 7 years of experience and specializes in natural nail gel services and nail art. He’s available to be booked with Wednesday through Saturday via the link below. New clients are encouraged to book, but appointments made by new clients more than a week in advance may not be accepted.

Christina Salata | @_clawcouture
Christina Salata hails from the vast and charming lands of Youngstown, Ohio.
The reason why she left the sprawling landscape of Youngstown - with all of the amenities and activities it has to offer - is still a mystery. However, we’re happy to have her on the Back Alley Nails team. She received her nail specialist certification in Ohio and further training in specialty dry pedicures.
She comes with experience with builder gel, gel polish, Gel-X extensions and most importantly nail art. As a water color and mixed media artist on the side, she brings a resume bursting with talent.
Christina is available to be booked Wednesday through Sunday from 11 - 8pm.

Hannah Donahue | @hannicure
Hannah joined Back Alley Nails in January of 2023. She received her nail license in Spring of 2020 through Sunstate Academy where she studied under Eric as one of his students.
She’s “nearly native” to the Tampa Bay area having moved here when she was only three years old. A large number of her family members live down in Brazil, where she visits often. As many do, she enjoys traveling and makes a point to find the nearest beach wherever she goes.

Jasmine is a St. Petersburg local that found a passion for nails in high school that was reignited upon enrolling in a nail program. She brings over 8 years of experience in the service industry and a lifetime of love for sculptural art — it’s the perfect combo to be an incredible nail artist.
While not working at Back Alley Nails, Jasmine enjoys spending time with her friends at the beach - like a true Florida girl.

Jessania is one of our independent artists at Back Alley Nails. While originally from Rochester, NY - she’s constantly chasing the sun, from coast to coast in Florida or chasing new destinations. If she’s not traveling in her free time, she’s relaxing at home watching Netflix with her 13 year old Daschund.
In the midst of 2020’s COVID, Jess decided to take up nails as her next big thing. Through cosmetology school and additional training, she continues to build her knowledge and experience within the industry. While confident in her work, she strives to continue learning and keep up with new trends.

Riley joined the team as an independent artist in February of 2023. She is a Full-Specialist graduate of Sunstate Academy in Spring of 2020 where she studied under Eric as one of his students.
As a second generation Tampa Bay native, she enjoys spending her time with family and friends.
